Lately I’ve been busy creating a RedBubble portfolio from my back catalog of photos. I’m also contemplating on adding some photo works to my Lensy.io gallery too. I had some problems book keeping problems that made me not want to tokenize my photos for a while.
Also, I’m still a little bit out of the loop on how NFTs and Creative Commons licenses can mix, if at all.
Anyhow, here’s quick example my RedBubble catalog:

Above you can see an example of the works I’ve already uplodaded on RedBubble.
I like them quite a lot now that I think about it. It’s interesting, because a photo in a clothing, apparel or accessories can also work as an advertisement.

I wonder if I should embed a QR code in some of the products, so that people will find my blog and NFTs. I could also add some Hive centric apparel to my profile too. Just need to figure out how to create them with photography only, or if I should start making other forms of visual art too.
Interestingly, I learned only just Yesterday, that the NFT sales have re-sale royalties built-in the system. That sounds pretty good if you ask me.

I visited Vääksy yesterday, to take a quick look at Norrlin park, the surviving area of the famous Johan Petter Norrlin’s (PhD, Plant Sciences) estate park, that has been converted into a forest garden.

Vierailin eilen Vääksyssä ja kävin vilkaisemassa Norrlinin puistoa, kuuluisan kasvitieteen kasvitieteen tohtori Johan Petter Norrlinin kartanonpuistosta jäljelle jääneen metsäpuutarhan.
Took a turn to the “park road”. // Käännyin Puistotielle.
The info boards said I’d could freely roam, pick and taste the berries and/or herb leaves that grow in the park. Too bad nothing green actually grows in the Winter. It is just too cold, and there’s too much snow for the sunlight to get to the greens.
Infotaulun mukaan olisin saanut kierrellä alueella vapaasti, sekä poimia ja syödä marjoja ja yrttien lehtiä, mutta harmikseni mikään sellainen ei oikeasti kasva talvella. On aivan liian kylmä, eikä auringonvalokaan pääse kaiken lumen läpi kasvien lehdille.

At the southern end of the park, I saw the highway overpass. It was a very sunny day, and it affected the way I had to shoot. I’m glad I had the opportunity to use the dual-ISO function of my camera.
Puiston eteläpäädyssä näin moottoritien ylikulkusillan. Oli erittäin aurinkoinen päivä ja se vaikutti hiukan myös kuvaamiseenkin. On kuitenkin kiva, että pystyin käyttämään kamerani dual-ISO -toimintoa.

If you have a Canon camera, there is a possibility that you too can use the Magic Lantern app on to add more essential functionality to your camera, Dual-ISO being one. I especially like trap focus when using manual lenses. There’s a ton of functionality that a camera normally doesn’t have (but should).

Jos omistat Canonin kameran, voit käyttää Magic Lantern -sovellusta lisätäksesi kameraan tarpeellisia toimintoja, kuten Dual-ISO. Itse pidän erityisesti ‘trap focus’ -toiminnosta, joka helpottaa manuaalilinssien käyttöä. ML lisää hurjasti toimintoja, joita kameroista ei tavallisesti löydy (mutta pitäisi löytyä).

So I continued my expedition by taking the path to the ‘Cabin of Silence’.
The Cabin of Silence was simply a small gazebo by the river.
Hiljaisuuden maja olikin lähinnä pieni huvimaja joen varrella.
I was out of time, so I had to start getting back home.
Aikani loppui, joten aloin palailla takaisin kotia kohti.
