There is a saying in Finland, that literally translates to “sorbus bears no two burdens”, which has generally been construed to mean either that the next winter will possibly be cold, or come little or no snow. We noticed, that this past autumn, the sorbuses had produced an amazing amount of berries.

Whether you believe it or not, it is still a good thing that the birds now have a good deal of nutrition for the remaining of the Winter.
