I really liked this flower, so I had to stop for a while to admire its beauty, and of course snap a close-up. It's the Mountain cornflower (Centaurea montana).

This photo is one of my earlier photographs from 2020. I made a re-edit, brightening and saturating it a bit more from what it was earlier. I originally took this photo in a dark forest where the only sunlight made a natural spotlight on the flower.
